Institute of Hospitality (IoH) Library

The IoH Library contains a special selection of e-books, e-journals, and digital audio books covering hospitality, leisure, tourism, career development, and business.

Free student membership is available to SHTM students. Registered SHTM students will be provided free access to all IoH resources for the duration of your studies.

ABI/INFORM Collection is an index to publications on business management and administration. Subject coverage includes economic conditions, finance, accounting, corporate strategies, management theory, management techniques, business trends, competitive landscape and product information.

Business Source Complete (via EbscoHost)
Business Source Complete provides full text for over 2,800 scholarly business journals covering management, economics, finance, accounting, international business and much more. More than 200 of the journals have PDF full text back to 1965 or the first issue published.

CDMNext 

CDMNext (formerly CEIC China Database) covers extensively over 134,000 data series. Data sources include 40 major government statistical agencies; over 40 prime industrial data issuing agencies; and over 1,000 reference publications.

Emerald Insight 

Emerald Insight provides full-text access to journals, books, case studies published by Emerald and a growing collection of open access content, covering subjects across social science research. The platform combines different types of research formats – articles, books and case studies, and presents content in a wide variety of outputs formats including multimedia, data and expert briefings and opinion.

Factiva

Factiva provides worldwide full-text coverage of local and regional newspapers, trade publications, business newswires, press release wires, media transcripts, news photos, business-rich Web sites, investment analyst reports, market research reports, etc.

Henry Stewart Talks: The Business & Management Collection

The collection contains audio-visual lectures and case studies by experts from commerce, industry, the professions and academia. All lectures and case studies are suitable for inclusion in LEARN@PolyU as additional learning material.
